We believe color belongs to the creative commons. The following licensing rules apply to assets created on HueCanva:
- User-Generated Palettes & Exports: Color values, hexadecimal hex codes, RGB/OKLCH formulas, CSS custom properties, and Tailwind configuration objects generated or exported through HueCanva belong entirely to you. You may use them in proprietary software, client designs, physical merchandise, and commercial brand systems with zero royalty obligations.
- Platform Intellectual Property: HueCanva's brand name, logo, custom user interface design, unique source code, documentation, and graphical assets are protected by copyright, trademark, and other applicable intellectual property laws. You may not copy, reverse-engineer, or mirror the core platform for the purpose of creating a competing service without explicit written permission.
3. Permitted and Prohibited Uses
You agree to use HueCanva strictly for lawful creative and technical purposes. Prohibited activities include:
- Deploying automated scrapers, bots, or web crawlers in a manner that creates unreasonable or disproportionately large loads on our Cloudflare edge infrastructure.
- Attempting to bypass security controls, rate limits, or exploit software vulnerabilities.
- Uploading files that contain malicious code, spyware, or viruses to the image extractor.
- Using HueCanva to produce or distribute materials that infringe upon third-party intellectual property or violate applicable laws.
4. Color Accuracy & Display Limitations Disclaimer
HueCanva implements mathematically rigorous algorithms based on international color standards (CIE, sRGB, Display P3, OKLCH, and WCAG 2.2). However, you acknowledge and understand that:
- Physical color reproduction varies based on consumer monitor calibration, panel technology (OLED, IPS, TN), operating system color profiles, ambient lighting, and print gamut limitations (CMYK).
- WCAG 2.2 contrast ratings are calculated algorithmically based on theoretical standard luminance formulas and should be validated in production software with user testing.
- HueCanva provides color suggestions and calculation tools for professional assistance, but you bear ultimate responsibility for validating accessibility in your finished deliverables.
5. Disclaimer of Warranties
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED ON AN "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" BASIS WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, SECURE, BUG-FREE, OR FREE OF ERRORS.
